The Leader - Landmark builds on community, setting a new standard for living

In an age where loneliness is a major social issue, a new development in Caringbah aims to tackle social isolation by encouraging residents and the community to come together.

News

Caringbah Greens, built above the revitalised Caringbah Bowling Club, integrates several aspects designed to foster interaction, such as ample open space and well-serviced communal facilities.

Arash Tavakoli, CEO of developer and builder Landmark, said their approach toward this site revolved around redevelopment rather than replacement, and aimed to provide spaces that stimulate connection between residents and the general public.

"The mixed-use component at Caringbah Greens incites social engagement throughout the development, not only for residents and tenants but also for the local community," Mr Tavakoli said.

"We have integrated high-density living and thoughtful amenity through various aspects such as a club bistro, rooftop terraces, and communal barbecue areas."

Landmark knows the Shire well, having operated here since 2017. Caringbah Greens is its fifth development in the area, transforming the 70-year-old Caringbah Bowling Club-one of the Shire's oldest-into a place designed for future generations, with a new club bistro, two bowling greens, and three architect-designed residential buildings, with over 240 apartments overlooking the greens and a central playground.

The development offers a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments designed to maximise views and natural light. Almost 15% of the residences are allocated as affordable housing.

"Landmark is focused on delivering good quality, affordable homes that give essential workers the opportunity to live closer to where they work" said Mr Tavakoli.

Luxury touches at Caringbah Greens include European appliances, breakfast bar style dining, stone benchtops and splashbacks. Mark Meyer, Director of Sales and Acquisitions at Landmark said being so close to transport and other amenities has resulted in demand from a range of purchasers including downsizers, owner occupiers, and investors.

"Landmark's 10-year quality guarantee - compared to the industry standard of six years - and our 25 years of delivering quality projects give purchasers added confidence".

Caringbah Greens has seen strong sales to date, with apartments still available for those looking to secure a home in this community.

Building on this momentum, Landmark is also taking expressions of interest for its next project in the area - Live Caringbah, located just down the road on Hinkler Avenue.

Mr Meyer said Live Caringbah has been designed as a modern, lifestyle-focused community with an emphasis on greenery throughout. The development features lush rooftop gardens, landscaped courtyards and planted communal spaces, paired with contemporary interiors that maximise natural light.

Both Caringbah Greens and Live Caringbah were designed by award-winning architects DKO.

"The beautifully designed and meticulously crafted apartments offer the perfect blend of style, comfort and value. We make the dream of home ownership a reality for everyone," Mr Tavakoli said.
